Fees for both theory and practical exams are now paid ‘up front’ to the RHS at the beginning of the courses so you do not book or pay for exams separately. However where it is necessary to retake a Unit exam or practical task, there will be a further RHS exam fee which the centre will need to pay to register candidates. For information on the fees, please click on the sidebar.

This will be the February 2026 exam series.
In order to register candidates and have time for entries to be checked, there is a cut-off date for booking an exam or a retake. The deadline is Friday 16 January if you are retaking the exam online; if you require a paper format for the exam at one of our centres please contact us as soon as you receive your October results as earlier deadlines apply.
